I thought this event was very well done for a first year event.Congrat's! It was very organized and played out perfectly. The vender's did not have ridiculous pricing making it affordable with purchases. Like the opportunity to play a championship round. However, wish to see better decision making when advancing teams to playoff rounds. Some teams won games to move on, but because advancing would or might mean playing a team they had already beaten, gets pushed to the lower bracket, this is a hard sell to parents who take it to serious- kids I don't think care. Just would suggest next year having that spelled out ahead of time to reduce the confusion at the score board. My only conflict with your event was something I witnessed by "only two" officials. While watching a U13 game between a Black Dog Team and a Team from the Pocono's, the officials became rude and way out-of-line with the parents calling one of them a "Stupid Idiots" and "Shut up I'm calling the game", and other comments not worth mentioning. These two officials were "not" the standards of others you had there. I must say all other games throughout the weekend were top notch. My only suggestion would be to evaluate those two moving forward. All others "outstanding". My only regret was for that team from the Pocono's. Though the parent from the other team was the one who questioned the call, my best opinion was that the official may have thought it was a Pocono parent, and made difficult calls against them after this incident. To my surprise, the Pocono parents remained quiet and didn't question anything but were visibly angry. It is my opinion, there boy's may have gotten the short end of many calls. Please don't take this wrong your event was "Outstanding"!!! I just wanted you to be aware of this incident. See you next year!
