High School Lacrosse is booming in America. High Schools are adding school sanctioned programs and club programs at an explosive pace. Both men's and women's lacrosse is experiencing phenomenal growth compared to other sports.
High school lax is so strong on the East Coast that you can actually catch HS lacrosse games on TV. If that isn't a positive sign of the state of things to come I don't know what is.
On the West Coast the game is gaining rapid popularity, and I can see a clear closing of the gap between East Coast and West Coast Lacrosse. Currently California has the second most teams only to New York.
In the middle of the country Lacrosse is also gaining traction and states like Texas, Colorado, and Nevada have extremely strong programs.
