International Lacrosse is basically played in the U-19 (under 19 years old) or senior divisions, and it has been governed Internationally by two organizations:
The International Federation of Women’s Lacrosse (IFWLA) and the International Lacrosse Federation (ILF) unified as of August 2008 into one International Governing Body for Lacrosse. This new Federation is called the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL).

Although my original vision of this site was not really International in scope, given the interest we are receiving, I feel compelled to reach out to the world lacrosse community and see what's going on with the sport of lacrosse around the world.
