Lacrosse Goalie Gear varies between box lacrosse and Field lacrosse. Box lacrosse gear is similar to hockey while field gear is designed so that the goalie can run around play defense and even attack at very near maximum speed with the absolute minimal interferance from the gear, while still being able to absorb many vicious 100 plus mile per hour shots. Goaltenders really do need to have great courage and a resistance to pain. Choosing quality gear is very important.
