BlueGrass Bats compete at the Fall Invitational in Maryland

The Bluegrass Bats competed well at the Cottle Fall Invitational in Edgewater, Maryland this November. Although fielding its youngest team to date, the Bats began play by defeating Edge USA in the first game. Led by Senior Bat Cager Addison Sears and Junior Bat Cager Brian Czerwonka, the Bats were competitive in every game played during the weekend. Senior Chance Smith (attack) and Junior Brad Lott (Middie) were instrumental in scoring and face-offs. Hampered by only three Defensemen, the Bats relied on versatility and grit to finish the tournament with a sound win over Madlax. The Bats next competition is the NDP Dicks National Championship in Tampa during New Years.
