Espoo Lacrosse Club - Finland

We're a new Lacrosse group from Espoo, Finland - the first and at the moment the only one. Espoo is the second largest city of our nation. Most of our players and members are young and still studying. This year we also put together a team for women.

Lacrosse is really growing in Finland and new teams are being founded all the time. The hardest part is still the lack of knowledge and a sturdy base, because the sport itself has been in Finland only a little over 10 years. I personally have a strong feeling that Lacrosse will grow into a huge scale sport within our nation, because 'Finns' are really competitive in similar sports; like ice-hockey for example.

You could help us by sending over a group of experts who would be able to make our team as good as the Powell Bros or Gary Gait, etc.! :) Well, old sticks and heads and goals would be a nice starter...
