Gift-Checkbook Fundraiser

Our Lacrosse team has used BoosterShot (http://goboostershot.com/) for fundraising the last few years. They have a unique set of fundraising products to choose from, and they all center around a product they call a gift-checkbook. It's similar to discount cards, but the offers are gift-certificates with little to no restrictions, making them much more valuable. Our community loves to support this product, which makes it very easy to sell. Typically, we raise between $7K-$10K.

In order to maximize our fundraising efforts, we have an overall lead as well as team leads for all groups. Also, we have an incentive program in place that has two parts. The first part is a team competition where there are rewards for the teams that sell the most. The second part is an individual competition. We have a number of prizes. For every product sold, the player gets a raffle ticket. When we've completed the fundraiser, we raffle off a variety of products ranging from gift-certificates to gear. Also, if players meet certain levels of sales, they automatically qualify for specific prizes. We've found this is a great way to generate the maximum sales.
