Houston, TX - High School Girls Junior Varsity Head Coach

Available: Fall 2016 through Spring 2017 Season.

Lamar High School Women's Lacrosse is a Division I club team in Houston, TX looking for a junior varsity head coach to for the 2016-2017 school year season. The junior varsity head coach will work with the varsity head coach and a few assistant coaches.

In this position, you will further develop the already talented junior varsity players and prepare the team for many competitive seasons to come. You will need to work closely with the varsity head coach to implement a plan to foster team unity and a pipeline of success for the future. In Fall 2016, the team practices 3 days/week after school with a few weekend tournament. In Spring 2017, the team has practice and games 5 days/week after school with a few weekend tournaments. We are looking for a junior varsity head coach with a motivating style who can bond with players and help advance players' skills and game IQ for competitive high school play. Previous coaching experience is preferred, but not necessarily a must for this position.

This is a paid part-time position from September 2016 through May 2017.
