Houston, TX - High School Girls Varsity Head Coach

Available: Fall 2016 through Spring 2017 Season.

Lamar High School Women's Lacrosse is a Division I club team in Houston, TX looking for a varsity head coach to take over the program during the 2016-2017 school year season. The varsity head coach will work with the junior varsity head coach and a few assistant coaches.

In this position, you will be the focus of the women's program. You will further develop the already talented varsity players and prepare the team for many competitive seasons to come. You will also be the "athletic director" for the program, setting the direction for the junior varsity team as well to foster team unity and a pipeline of success for the future. In Fall 2016, the team practices 3 days/week after school with a few weekend tournament. In Spring 2017, the team has practice and games 5 days/week after school with a few weekend tournaments. We are looking for a varsity head coach with a motivating style who can bond with players and help advance players' skills and game IQ for competitive high school play. Previous women's lacrosse coaching experience is a huge plus for this position.

This is a paid part-time position from September 2016 through May 2017.
