Lacrosse Balls - NCAA Rule Specifications
The ball has to be white, yellow, orange or lime green. It must be smooth or slightly textured solid rubber — between 7-3/4 and 8 inches in circumference, between 5 and 5-1/4 ounces in weight and, when dropped from a height of 72 inches upon a concrete floor, shall bounce 43 to 51 inches at a temperature of 65 degrees to 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Balls shall be supplied by the home team. The ball in use at the end of the game shall become the property of the winning team. The home team should provide a ball retriever at each end line.
A minimum of four balls should be spaced equidistant from each other along the end line at the beginning of each period.
