The camp consists of Professional,Collegiate and High School Lacrosse coaches. The director is Tom Michaelsen who is a Bethpage Graduate in 2004 earning All American honors and eventually play division 1 lacrosse for St. John's University. He was later drafted professionally by the San Fransisco Dragons in the MLL and for the Minnesota Swarm for the NLL.
A portion of the money is being donated to the Bethpage Community Foundation ran by Gary Bretton.
The camp will be instructional but more importantly a great time for the kids. It's proximity to Plainview is great and we would love for the kids to come. The camp is sponsored by Maverik Lacrosse and there will be tons of giveaways and prizes for all campers.
